The NC Glass Center – I visited the NC Glass Center in Asheville.
“Facing the Neighbor” – I helped out on set for the short film “Facing the Neighbor” and even got to spend some time in front of the camera.
The North Carolina Arboretum – I toured the Arboretum between Asheville and Hendersonville.
#9. Ride in a police car – I went for a ride along with police officers in Amsterdam.
COVID-19 teddy bear hunt – I waved to children from a windowsill in Zelhem during the Coronavirus pandemic.
Hoge Veluwe National Park – I explored a national park in the Netherlands, including a wonderful hunting lodge.
Grain mill in Doetinchem – Shorty after arriving in the Netherlands, I took a tour of a smock mill.
Roosevelt leaves America – I traveled from Chicago to Amsterdam, this was my first time outside the United States!
#64. Help someone finish a 1000 piece puzzle – Louisa and I put together a jigsaw puzzle of the Neuschwanstein castle.
#8. Ride in a fire truck – I visited a fire station in Kewaskum, WI.
#54. Volunteer for Habitat for Humanity – I helped insulate and drywall a house in Wisconsin. It was tough work!
Mark Twain museum – I learned about Mark Twain and went on a Mississippi river cruise in Hannibal, Missouri.
#43. Work at a pottery wheel – A potter in Kansas City helped me cross another item off my bucket list!

Capitol Reef National Park in Utah – I went hiking and learned about the park’s defining geological feature, the Waterpocket fold.

Rafting through the Grand Canyon – In one adventure I crossed off both #1. Visit the Grand Canyon and #98. Go white water rafting.
Los Angeles adventures – I crossed off #88. Earn a star on the Hollywood walk of fame. I also visited the William Pittenger house in Fallbrook, California.
#49. Hike up a mountain – I hiked 9300 feet to the top of Mt. Elden in Flagstaff, Arizona.
Bearizona wildlife park – I crossed off #11. Go to a zoo. See the bears. I saw lots of bears. That made me happy.

#89. Fly a kite – A friend of mine let me fly his kite around Seaport Village in San Diego, California.
Blowing bubbles – I met a man who blows bubbles for a living in San Diego, California.
Universal Studios Hollywood – I spent the day at Universal Studios and crossed off #77. Ride a roller coaster.
